So I just started reading this book written by a psychiatric guy who has known the Dalai Lama for some time now. It is very good btw, i recommend it. the book teaches simply how to be happy, which snapping rules.
Anywho, I am very happy right now, and i think it is because of the book. i havent even read a hundred pages, but i already want to meet him.
Also, i plan on shaving my head and going to tibet when i am older and i will wear funny robes and talk in riddles and answer questions with questions like in bulletproof monk
And part of this great book says, and this isnt a quote from the dalai lama it is just part of the book...
"Ideas of what is considered to be private and intimate behavior have also changed over time. In the sixteenth-century Germany, for instance, a new husband and wife were expected to consummate their marriage on a bed carried by witnesses who would validate their marriage."
now that is good reading.
now i leave you with a bit of dalai lama advise
"We are all born in the same way, and we all die... relating to others on that level makes it much easier to exchange and communicate with one another."
